Storytime for 2 and 3 yr olds: Sweet Dreams My Love

At today's 2 and 3 program, we had a bit of a day-over ( sleepover in the daytime). We made a  picture of the cow jumping over the moon ( with " moondust" that thankfully did not create a mess!!), rang some bells to "Twinkle Twinkle" and "Hey Diddle Diddle" and listened to Cindy Moo by Lori Mortensen and Goodnight Moon by Margaret W. Brown.

( This is usually done with an owl puppet. From past experience, some kids may by shy in greeting the owl, other will hug him, which the owl will say " Thank you, but I have to see the other boys and girls now. Bye)

( Count down from 4 to 1 sausage)

Hey Diddle Diddle
Hey Diddle Diddle, the cat and the fiddle
The cow jumped over the moon
The little dog laughed to see such sport
And the dish ran away with the spoon.


Our next 2 and 3 story times will be Monday,  March 4 and  Monday,March 18 at 10am in the NEW children's programming room.
